My precious little "Sam I am" was totally flat on his back.  It made me laugh out loud and I wanted to share it.  But nooooooo, outta' FOUR pictures this was the best :(

She's definitely got her daddy's coloring and temperament.
At this point, Samwise and Eowyn are the most like my Macky.
Personality wise.
    Pretty early yet.  Their eyes are starting to open.  They can't hear yet either.  As you can see, their little ears are still up.  When they go down, that means the inner ear is open and needs protecting.  Then, in a month or so, back up they go :))))
Really nice lookin' litter if I do say so myself :)
I think all 6 of um are show quality, hehehe.  Course,
    I'm the grandma :)

Pippin is a little lighter than Gim but he could still go either way.  He has the most white but not by much.
Arwen is obviously a brindle.  How light she'll get I haven't a clue.
Samwise is white, dahhhhh :)  Can't leave him out.  hehe
Eowyn and Strider will look like their daddy.  Fawn with black overlay.  The shades vary greatly with these pups too.

Tomorrow I'll go buy some Purina Puppy Chow and powdered milk.  They're all fat and sassy but it's time to help out mama.  Wednesday I'll de-worm everybody and clip all their little toe nails.
I get off easy this time.  Only 108 toenails :)

"Sam I am" is a mama's boy.  Most everybody took one nose dunk and they were chowin'.  Sam, I dunked him about 4 times, he kept backing away.  He could just be lazy like his dad and eating is too much work.  hehehe  He's waiting for mama :)

April 16, 2003  Babies are two weeks old today.  I
      I just weighed um and gave them their first de-worming. 
Forget the toenails until after breakfast, they were toooooo wiggly :)              Ya have to catch um when they're full and tired :)
Gimli is still the biggest boy but Strider is only an ounce behind.  Weighing in
   at 3 lbs. 8 ozs. and 3 lbs. 7 ozs.
More than tripled their weight in
                two weeks :)
Samwise is right up there too
            at 3 lbs. 4 ozs.
Pippin is catchin' um.  Now that I'm feeding them the smaller kids will catch up.  He's at 3 lbs. 2 ozs.
Eowyn just hit 3 lbs. and Arwen is bringing up the rear at 2 lbs. 14 ozs.
All healthy, sassy and happy :)
It's gloomy again today so I'll try later for more pictures.
Attention all you Flatlanders, and I mean that with the greatest respect, GO BEARS!, maybe we should car pool to pick up pups.  We've still got plenty of time to make plans :) but we've got babies goin' to Bartlett, Oaklawn and Round Lake Beach.  Just a thought :)
Annnnnnnd puppy number 6 is movin' to Rhinelander with Jon, Tracy and Brandy.  Brandy will be his big sister.  She's a funny looking Akita called a Lab.  They're going to send us some pictures.

I was born on Easter Sunday :)  Buttttt, you'll have to go back in ancient history to find out how old I am.  Easter Sunday only falls on the 22nd every hundred years or so :)

At three weeks of age we weighhhhhhhh;

Samwise is now the lard azz :)  5 lbs. 2 ozs.

Strider is right behind him at 4 lbs. 15 ozs.
Gimli gained a pound, 4 lbs. 8 ozs.
Eowyn is also 4 lbs. 8 ozs.
Pippin too, he'll catch up to his bros next week
